Cindy Webster has almost 40 years of experience in matching top quality catering staff to discerning clients. An experienced cook turned recruiter, she brings a unique blend of knowledge, people skills and practical insight.
With deep understanding of the needs of clients and cooks alike, and an extensive network, particularly in Scotland, Cindy leaves no stone unturned when taking a new brief. She puts immense store by the interview and selection process and is masterful in matching the right cook to the right job/client.
Now, Cindy is sharing her knowledge with Emma, who already has first-hand experience of meeting the needs of private clients in a hospitality setting.
Emma Humes is Cindy’s niece and lives in Blairgowrie, Perthshire. She joined Cindy Webster Cooks in 2023 and has been busy making improvements to our systems and processes, to help manage our growing client base and community of cooks and catering staff. Emma is a qualified Primary and PE teacher as well as a sports coach. She grew up in a home at the centre of a long-established Scottish sporting estate with rental cottages, so she knows what good hospitality looks like. She has an instinctive ability to relate to people of all ages and walks of life, and this is reflected in the way she communicates with clients and cooks.

We personally interview all prospective staff and follow up all references. We hold regular interview days and are happy to meet with prospective staff in Edinburgh, Perthshire, Cumbria and the Borders.
